Corn on the Cob is a Side Dish in Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!.

Description

Originating in Mesoamerica, corn on the cob is best known for its role in the 1917 Russian Revolution. With civil unrest at breaking point, Tsar Nicholas II appeared to protesters in an attempt to demonstrate he was a man of the people. In what historians now agree was the greatest strategic blunder of the 20th century, Nicholas removed a single cob of corn from his coat and proceeded to eat it in front of the crowd. As Nicholas continued to make slurping and chewing sounds, the crowd immediately lost all respect for their leader.

While already profoundly unpopular, any existing support for the Tsar quickly diminished as Russians could no longer get the image of their leader chewing corn out of their heads.

Since then, no world leader has been seen eating corn on the cob in public.
